Dhaka University Admission Circular 2021-2022

Dhaka University is renowned as an oxford of the east. It offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs including IBA. In every academic year, a large number of candidates compete for one seat in their dream university by taking admissions tests. If you are willing to apply DU admissions, you should have a clear concept about the procedure of admission. Before going to apply, we will highlight on the basic dates and deadlines of Dhaka University admission as per the prospectus.

DU Admission Test Date

The admission date has released 6 April, 2022.  DU admission dates schedule are below-

 

Update News: Admission test of Dhaka University will be completed by June. This test will be taken under five units (a, b, c, d and e) like last time.

 

DU Admission Qualification

There is no opportunity to attend second time examination at Dhaka University admission. Only improving candidates will get the opportunity to take the admission test. The minimal entrance exam requirements at the University of Dhaka have been changed. The following qualifications are needed for each unit: –

Ka/A Unit

• Candidates SSC/equivalent examination – 2016 to 2019 and the HSC/equivalent examination – 2021 from Science Group can apply for admission.
• Candidates who have at least GPA 3.50 in both SSC and HSC/equivalent examinations, and the total GPA (SSC + HSC) should be at least 8.00 (including additional subjects).

Kha/B unit

• Candidates SSC/equivalent examination – 2016 to 2019 and HSC/equivalent examination – 2021 from the humanities group can apply.
• Candidates must be obtained at least GPA of 3.00 on each exam and the total GPA should be up to 7.50 on both exams.

Ga/C Unit

• Candidates who have passed SSC/equivalent examination – 2016 to 2019 and HSC/equivalent examination – 2021 in Business Studies/Diploma in Business Studies/ Business Management can apply.
• Applicants must have at least GPA 3.00 in both SSC and HSC/ equivalent examinations and should have a total minimum GPA 7.50 (with additional subjects).

Gha/D Unit

• Applicants who have passed SSC/equivalent – 2016 to 2019 and HSC in Humanities, Science, Business Education, Agricultural Science – 2021 can apply.
• Candidates who have less than ‘B’ grade (3.00) in any subject in HSC/equivalent examination will not be accepted.
• Applicants from the Humanities group (including Madrasa Education Board) must be obtained minimum GPA of at least 7.50 in SSC and HSC examinations (with additional subjects).
• Students from Business Education, Diploma-in-Business Studies, Diploma-in-Commerce and Business Management group must have a minimum GPA of 7.50 in both SSC and HSC/equivalent examinations (with additional subjects).
• Candidates from Science, Madrasa Education Board’s Science, Agricultural Science and Home Economics group must have a minimum GPA of 8.00 in SSC and HSC examinations (with additional subjects).

For Cha/E Unit

• Candidates who have passed SSC/equivalent examination – 2016 to 2019 and HSC (Humanities, Science, Business Education, Agricultural Science) – 2021 can apply.
• Students who have passed HSC/equivalent examination in any group with a have of minimum GPA of 7.0 in SSC and HSC/equivalent examinations (with additional subjects), can apply for admission. But, if you have a GPA of less than 3 in any examination (SSC or HSC), you cannot apply.

 Marks Distribution

The admission authority of Dhaka University changed their existing admission marks distribution. They reduced MCQ & CGPA marks and increased written exam marks. According to new marks distribution, MCQ test marks 60 and, written test marks 40.

 

GPA Marks

Dhaka University admission authority has been declared their admission test GPA marks. For current year GPA marks will be 20 marks. These marks will be counted based on applicants SSC/equivalent GPA and HSC/equivalent examination GPA.

How To Apply Dhaka University Admission 2022

• Applicants can apply through this link (http://admission.eis.du.ac.bd/). Applicants will be able to see the admission guidelines, notices and links on the site. Please carefully read guidelines before applying any unit.
• To apply for admission, click on the ‘Apply/Login’ button of the DU admission website.
• After clicking on the ‘Application/Login’ button, provide the applicant’s Higher Secondary/Equivalent ‘roll’, Board Name and Roll Number of SSC/equivalent exams. And then the apply to the units and click on the ‘confirm’ button.

  How to Download DU Admit Card?

Follow the steps below to download DU Admit Card 2021-22. Admit Card will be need to be Download for each Units. The Admission Test Date, Time, Exam Center and instructions are mentioned on the Admit Card.

1. Visit Dhaka University Admission Website admission.eis.du.ac.bd
2. Login your account with your HSC and SSC information.
3. Enter the Student Dashboard.
4. Click the Download button to download admit card of the unit to which you have applied.

Dhaka University Seat Plan 2022

DU admission Seat Plan will be Published 48 Hours before the Admission Test. It will be Published on the DU Admission Website. Dhaka University Seat Plan can also be known by Sending SMS from Airtel, Banglalink, Robi and Teletalk through mobile phone.

Candidates can check their Seat Plan by Login with their HSC Roll, Board, Passing Year, and SSC Roll from the Student Dashboard of DU. If candidates want to Check their Seat Plan by Mobile Phone SMS, Please Follow the Instructions below. Also, the instructions are mentioned on your admit Card.

First, Go to Your Mobile SMS Option and then Type-

DU<space>UNIT Keyword<space>Admission Test Roll and Send it to 16321.

Example: DU GA 654364 and send to 16321

How to check the Dhaka University Result?

The Dhaka University admission Result 2022 will be published through the admission website admission.eis.du.ac.bd. The results can be known by logging in with SSC and HSC information. University of Dhaka A, B, C and D Unit Admission Test Result 2021-22 in details will be published through the website. Subject based results can be viewed by logging in with SSC and HSC information. The results can also be known by sending an SMS from mobile.

DU Admission Result by SMS

Applicants can also know the Dhaka University Admission Result by sending a message from any mobile phone. It can be known only by sending a message after the result is published. The result will be informed then in the return SMS. Follow the instructions instructions below to know the result by SMS.

A-Unit Result: DU <space> GA <space> Admission Roll and Send to 16321. Example: DU KA 123496 and Send it to 16321.
